This year Burgas hosted the prestigious and very well-known "National Winter Mathematics Competition". The Bulgarian participants of The Comenius Project attended the awarding ceremony in order to promote our project, take a lot of photos and have fun! It the beginning of the event the students from our amazing team welcomed all the guests and gave each of them a booklet in which the activities and aims of our project were introduced. After that we answered all of the questions the young Mathematicians asked us. We stamped the moment with plenty of photos and spent valuable time doing such an extraordinary activity.

"COMENIUS" is a dream-come-true for so many students from all over the world. But what makes it really amazing is when you share the news around.
We have discussed it with our peers, spread photos around the school, displayed posters and logo, written our blogs, arranged food-boxes... and so we thought about something bigger, something of a greater significance.
And here comes our chance- the most important event in our school and city is BIMC 2013- a competition with participants from all over the world, more than 1100 people from 30 countries. It is held in Europe for the first time in its history, in our country, in our city, in our school- cool, isnt't it?
And that is a once-in-a -lifetime experience for everyone. Why not make our project popular among the participants- geniuses in Maths, journalists, politicians, royalties...?
We designed flyers and had them printed. Then before the thrilling parade along the city, we handed them out to participants and passers-by. And as you can see-people got interested.
The GALA project is now famous all around the world!

Flyers- International Folklore Festival 2013

From 19th to 23rd of August our beautiful hometown Burgas was hosting the 41st annual International Folklore Festival. There were participants from 12 different countries and 3 continents – Europe, Asia and Africa. They presented their unique heritage of authentic folklore and the culture of the regions they come from. The motto of the festival is "To preserve the legacy of our ancestors and pass it to your children!"
This event attracted a huge audience. The Summer Theatre was full of people during all of the concerts and the 14 outdoor stages were enjoying a large attendance as well. Almost every citizen of Burgas attended at least one of the concerts.
The festival started and ended with a defile. All the ensembles walked along the central streets of Burgas to reach the Summer Theatre.
The Bulgarian team of Gala decided that the event is perfect to advertise the project. We gave away flyers to the participants of the Festival and its visitors and explained to them about our goals and ideas.
